The working relationship aimed to leverage iGoDirect’s expertise in developing a seamless redemption experience; enhancing customer satisfaction and streamlining the cashback incentive. In 2025, Mitsubishi Electric Australia has continued engagement with iGoDirect to re-launch its year-on-year cashback promotion, consistently improving the program’s effectiveness.

SOLUTIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS

Prior to initiating the development for 2025’s cashback build, iGoDirect created a ‘lessons-learnt’ document that highlighted what worked and what didn’t in previous years. This exercise included suggested solutions for each key area identified. To name a few of the improvements implemented:

Clear Claim Step Process: iGoDirect developed a Progress Bar during the claim process, helping customers clearly understand where they are in the user journey. This significantly reduced the number of incomplete claims and related enquiries.

Claim Status Check: A new feature addition enabled customers to independently check the status of their claims. This self-help option reduced the need for customer service interventions and empowered consumers with real-time updates.

Security Measures: iGoDirect implemented a two-factor authentication system and deemed it a requirement to submit utility bills or rate notices. These proactive measures remarkably enhanced the security and credibility of the cashback program.

Express Entry for Repeat Consumers: The platform now showcases express entry – a feature that recalls returning customers’ details and reward preferences. This development significantly reduced the time spent for repeat customers accessing the site, lifting their overall experience.

Innovative Reward Technology: The new Mitsubishi Electric digital Visa gift card now supports Web-To-Wallet technology, enabling a seamless and app-free reward redemption experience. Customers can instantly add their card to their mobile wallet with a single tap – eliminating the need for third-party apps or additional software.
